Exploration Mode

Exploration Mode delivers a sandbox adventure built from the systems currently available. Players are dropped into an infinite procedurally generated world filled with diverse biomes, mysterious structures, friendly creatures, and dangerous enemies.

Within this mode you can:

• Farm and grow crops
• Craft gear and equipment
• Play cooperatively with friends

Because this is Early Access, balance and polish will still evolve. Some mechanics may feel rough, certain features are incomplete, and tuning is ongoing — but the foundation is already incredibly promising. Even now, the world occasionally aligns to create unforgettable sandbox moments.

As players uncover the Echoes of Orbis, the developers are on their own journey of discovery, testing ideas, refining systems, and shaping the future Adventure Mode based on community feedback.

This approach is already underway, with the first post-launch update released just days ago introducing new content, including dinosaurs, alongside early improvements and fixes.

One major focus will be the development of official minigames. Work on these will begin in the coming months, introducing new gameplay systems while also opening broader opportunities for third-party servers to thrive within the Hytale ecosystem.

Alongside this, several social features are already in prototype, including:

• Friend lists
• Proximity-based voice chat

The roadmap remains intentionally flexible. The team is prioritizing real player feedback as the community experiences Hytale for the first time. In fact, players can submit bug reports and feedback directly from within the game, helping shape development in real time.
